One of the highlights in Davao’s social calendar , the kadayawan sa Dabaw festival. A wonderful worklong celebration every August. A festival in thanksgiving for natures bounty and Davao’s cultural wealth. Think about the lovely and vibrant parade of costumes and traditional dances. wow..
A lot of hotspots and outdoor activities too. For those who love beaches, head to the exotic Pearl farm beach resort in Samal Island (if u can afford the luxurious villas). If not head to Talikod beach in Samal Island too where you can rent a hut or cottages for a very affordable price. Twas Nov. ‘95 when i last went there with friends.. Its fun and adventure. We hit the road late at night and we descended 80% before we arrived at our destination.. fixed our tents and couple of drinks.. hmmm… and when the sun rises? wow.. a beautiful white sand beach!
Another must-visit is the venue. For those who love the nightlife.. bars you can hop right over Jacinto street. For more after dinner fun head to Matina Town Square (MTS) along McArthur highway. Its a hotspot of diff bars populated with younger crowd who enjoy live music (am 1 of them..
). A night w/ a trip to the hilltop sprawls of bars and restaurants that includes the Jack’ s Ridge. Its over viewing Davao City more like Mr.A in Cebu.

Live music at Matina Town Square

Jam with the band at Venue
This is the best time to visit Davao City. It will be a lot of fun!
