We headed to Anilao weeks ago in eagerness to try windsurfing. It’s exiting. Learning the tricks seems to take ages and we only had a half day lesson. We started the session with the expert @1pm and finished @5pm. Not that easy.. balance is critical when learning to windsurf and should always keep d legs slightly bent. Switching positions are tough. I always fall off into d water.. Its frustrating but it’s d only way am going to learn.
I enjoyed the camaraderie out there on the water when trying to progress. I’m hoping one day I can try it again and will be good enough to go without a sailing buddy.
Taken shots on the long board.. practice lang..

Again..
D real thing. Ready…
Slowly pull the rope…
Go..
On my way back..
That’s all. I’m not asking much.. ![]()
Had fun fighting the wind. If you sail directly into the wind, you may find yourself into d water. Just get back on d board and start sailing again. The trainor said, sail with the wind hitting ur back.
Your stability is not going to be good at first but eventually u will get used of the board in a short period of time.
I Had great times on the beach this summer. I’ll post it when I have time again. Explored amazing places too even if the sun is at its highest point so until now am still trying to recover from the sunburn.
