As planned, I went home to attend at my cousin’s party yesterday at resort. The full-blown videoke, the dancing at the cottage, drinks, foods and conversation was sooo fun! I enjoyed a lot. We went home at 8pm and ended up at the bar to continue the party.. live music and disco ang trip nila. Dancing is not my thing so nood nalang ako while they dance. Medyo crazy kasi medyo tipsy na.. haha! We went home 1am. Am sure the birthday girl was so happy lastnight. We had fun.. sooo much fun!

The Party
August 23, 2007
Can’t Shut my Eyes..
Can’t sleep again.. Just arrived home. Came from a birthday party.. friend invited me. Thanks to friends who just hang around.
The party was ok.. Good thing was, It ended early and it’s more on conversation and just a couple of shot so i went home sober..
Party will continue tomorrow at the beach, i was invited by a friend but i dont know if it’s a good idea to come.. Long story..
I went home, checked if someone’s online.. nuh.. as usual.. wala magawa.. I’ve been sighing and not in a good state of mind this past days.. I’ve been emotionally affected for things that went thru past months and i don’t want to be bothered already.. I had enough and I should get rid of this feeling.. Just have to be patient and be optimistic on things i guess.. Focus and hope that things will turn out right soon…
I ended up redesigning my blog template.. added some elements I found on the net. Its a good thing i have this space to sound off and to empty my mind sometime.. hay life..
Anyway i’l try to shut my eyes now.. Tomorrow is another day of planning.. Hope things will come my way. Ciao..

The Timpupo Fruit Festival
Kidapawan City. Known to be the City of fruits and highland springs is celebrating its 6th yr Timpupo Festival. It started from a fruit float parade last Saturday Aug 18, One of the highlights to start the weeklong fest and will end August 24.
Also, one of the highlights of the Timpupo Fruit Fest is the eat-all-you-can of fruits at the city plaza. It is the place where the exotic fruits like durian are found (one of my favorite
), the street dancing participated by 17 barangays, the fruit show contest, fruit eating contest, film showing, cultural shows and etc..
Other highlights include also the search for Lakambini for Timpupo 2007, which was held last night at the City gym.., Miss Fruity Gay, Mount Apo Adventure race and wall climbing.. Yeah, the tallest peak in Phils is also found in Kidapawan, The Mt. Apo, One of the major attraction which has 10,311 feet above sea level.
And tomorrow will be the fruit gallore hosted by Journalist Marc Logan.. One of my fave part.. It is where visitors and locals can eat those fruits for free.. A 3 kilometers table of diff fruits like Durian, mangosteen, banana, rambutan, lanzones and etc., in the middle of national highway.. Again, its for free..
Twas prepared by the government. Hmmm.. Eating fruits first thing in the morning while walking in a long table of fruits in the middle of the highway aren’t bad i guess.. Kita kits…

Kadayawan sa Dabaw
One of the highlights in Davao’s social calendar , the kadayawan sa Dabaw festival. A wonderful worklong celebration every August. A festival in thanksgiving for natures bounty and Davao’s cultural wealth. Think about the lovely and vibrant parade of costumes and traditional dances. wow..
A lot of hotspots and outdoor activities too. For those who love beaches, head to the exotic Pearl farm beach resort in Samal Island (if u can afford the luxurious villas). If not head to Talikod beach in Samal Island too where you can rent a hut or cottages for a very affordable price. Twas Nov. ‘95 when i last went there with friends.. Its fun and adventure. We hit the road late at night and we descended 80% before we arrived at our destination.. fixed our tents and couple of drinks.. hmmm… and when the sun rises? wow.. a beautiful white sand beach!
Another must-visit is the venue. For those who love the nightlife.. bars you can hop right over Jacinto street. For more after dinner fun head to Matina Town Square (MTS) along McArthur highway. Its a hotspot of diff bars populated with younger crowd who enjoy live music (am 1 of them..
). A night w/ a trip to the hilltop sprawls of bars and restaurants that includes the Jack’ s Ridge. Its over viewing Davao City more like Mr.A in Cebu.

Live music at Matina Town Square

Jam with the band at Venue
This is the best time to visit Davao City. It will be a lot of fun!
